At WCPS, our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum provides a nurturing and stimulating start to school life. We focus on developing the whole child through a balanced mix of adult-led and child-initiated activities, tailored to each boy’s stage of development. Learning takes place both in the classroom and in our dedicated outdoor classroom, where children explore, investigate, and learn through purposeful play. The curriculum covers all seven areas of EYFS learning, with a strong emphasis on communication, creativity, physical development, and personal well-being—laying firm foundations for future success.

Our Early Years provides an engaging, supportive and safe environment for the beginning of our children’s WCPS journey. Our aim is to ensure all children are happy to come to school and are excited and full of stories to share with you at home time each day.
